Dan Thornhill
Dan Thornhill was born in Dallas, Texas in 1946, where he graduated from Dallas Baptist College (now Dallas Baptist University) with a degree in biology. After a hiatus of many years from art, he began studying art seriously in 2001. He graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2013 with a M.A. in Studio Art. Ever searching for knowledge and truth, Thornhill is an artist continually emerging and growing. His paintings reflect his joy of life and a whimsical spirit. Thornhill’s work is included in the permanent collections at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock; the Fine Arts Institute in Edmonds, Oklahoma; the Grand Prairie Arts Center in Stuttgart, Arkansas; the Cancer Center at UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas; along with other public and private collections. He lives in Little Rock, Arkansas.
