Elizabeth Borne' playful and colorful paintings have been exhibited and collected internationally.  In 1950, Borne' earned her Bachelor's Degree in painting from the University of Tulsa where she went on to obtain her Master's Degree in painting in 1968.  In 1998, the artist moved permanently to Arkansas after living in Philadelphia, New Orleans, and Paris.

Exhibitions include the Delta Exhibtion at the Arkansas Arts Center, Small Works on Paper organized by the Arkansas Arts Council, Women's Millenium Exhibition at the Walton Arts Center, the National Museum of Women in the Arts Exhibition of Arkansas Artists, Works on Paper at the Perkins Center for the Arts in Morrestown, New Jersey, a Four Woman Invitational at the Galveston Arts Center, and many more solo and group shows.  In 1999, Borne' was featured with a profile in Active Years magazine.
